Linda Banfy brings a wealth of experience in bookkeeping and accounting, with over a decade of service as the Bookkeeper for Ridglea Music and many years supporting Certified Public Accountants in various financial roles. Her expertise spans financial recordkeeping, administrative support, and client service operations. Since 2011, she has been an integral part of Moffatt Financial Strategies, where she currently serves as a Client Service Associate, having started as an Administrative Assistant to Derek Moffatt.
In addition to her financial and administrative work, Linda is the Librarian for the Texas Christian University Music Preparatory Division, where she has also been a faculty member since 1987. She teaches private piano lessons and is committed to music education and performance. A native of Ohio, Linda began piano studies at age five. She earned her Master of Music in Piano Performance from Texas Christian University, studying under Cliburn gold medalist Steven DeGroote. She also holds a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from DePauw University.
Linda is a dedicated member of the Fort Worth Music Teachers Association and the Music Teachers National Association, serving as Co-Chairman of the annual Fall & Jazz Festivals for over 15 years and Treasurer for 6 years. She has also been a frequent adjudicator for local contests and festivals and has performed extensively as an accompanist for graduate and undergraduate student recitals.
